Weather caused studio power issues. It happens! On this explosive edition of Armed American Radio, host Mark Walters connects the dots between a heroic armed citizen who helped stop a mass killer in Idaho, New York’s aggressive prosecution of a law-abiding gun owner facing more than a dozen felony charges, and what may be the emerging roadmap anti-gun politicians are preparing as they continue losing major Second Amendment battles in the courts. Mark opens the broadcast with a detailed analysis of the tragic shooting at the newly opened In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho, where an armed citizen and an off-duty Idaho State Police trooper reportedly returned fire after a rifle-wielding attacker murdered innocent victims. While national media predictably focuses on the killer, Mark asks the question many refuse to ask: How many additional lives were saved because a responsible citizen was carrying a firearm? The discussion explores why armed self-defense remains the last line of defense when evil appears without warning, why “gun-free zones” failed yet again, and why defensive gun use continues to dismantle the gun-control narrative every time it occurs. Joined by Breitbart News Second Amendment columnist AWR Hawkins, the program examines how this incident demonstrates the reality that law-abiding citizens are overwhelmingly part of the solution—not the problem. The conversation then shifts toward what Mark describes as the next phase of the anti-gun movement. With the U.S. Supreme Court preparing to hear major challenges to so-called “assault weapon” bans and anti-gun organizations suffering repeated defeats under the Bruen standard, are gun-control advocates changing tactics? Mark analyzes New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s efforts to replace repealed federal ATF regulations with even more restrictive state laws while discussing similar legislative strategies appearing across blue states. The broadcast examines why many gun-rights advocates believe politicians are pivoting from broad firearm bans toward criminalizing technical violations, administrative paperwork, and regulatory compliance as a new avenue to discourage firearm ownership. The centerpiece of the program is one of the most compelling interviews ever aired on Armed American Radio. Firearms trainer Rob Pincus joins Mark to introduce the extraordinary case of Demetrio Daga, a New York gun owner who now faces more than a dozen felony charges after investigators allegedly used online purchase records to launch an extensive firearms investigation. Appearing publicly alongside his attorney, Kevin O’Brien, Demetrio tells listeners what it was like to be surrounded by heavily armed officers after dropping his children off at school, watching dozens of law enforcement officers search his home, and seeing his life instantly transformed into a criminal prosecution despite having no violent criminal history. Attorney Kevin O’Brien explains why he believes the case represents something much larger than one individual prosecution, arguing that responsible gun owners throughout restrictive states should pay close attention to how aggressively firearm laws are now being enforced against citizens who have harmed no one. Rob Pincus expands the discussion by explaining why similar investigations are becoming increasingly common and what these prosecutions may signal for the future of Second Amendment rights in America. Throughout the three-hour national broadcast, Mark repeatedly asks listeners to step back and look beyond each individual headline. Whether discussing heroic defensive gun use, expanding state-level firearm restrictions, or criminal prosecutions based on complex regulatory requirements, he argues that each story reveals another piece of what he calls “The Anti-Gun Blueprint.” If constitutional challenges continue eliminating sweeping firearm bans, what strategies will anti-gun lawmakers pursue next? This episode explores that question in depth while examining the legal, constitutional, and cultural battles shaping the future of the Second Amendment. If you care about the right to keep and bear arms, concealed carry, constitutional freedoms, self-defense, Supreme Court litigation, or the rapidly changing landscape of American gun laws, this is one of the most important Armed American Radio broadcasts of the year. The results of VA legislative session become clear(er) as the day progresses…What did the wicked witch democrat tyrant of the east do with the constitution crushing bills infringing on your gun rights as the deadline approached last night? take a listen. …read this statement from this wench…Then get MAD! “I grew up in a family where responsible gun ownership was expected, and I carried a firearm every day as a former federal agent. I support the Second Amendment. But gun violence is the leading cause of death for children and teenagers in America, and that should motivate all of us to ask ourselves what we can do to mitigate this harm,” said Spanberger. “This is why I’ve made amendments to provide clarity for both responsible gun owners and law enforcement, making clear what these changes mean in practice — as Virginians safely purchase and store their firearms. These common sense steps will help keep our families, our communities, and our law enforcement officers safe.” In response to Spanberger’s actions towards gun control legislation, John Commerford, the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislation Action’s executive director, released the following statement: “Governor Spanberger’s last-minute amendments to these gun control bills—slipped in during the dead of night—are nothing more than a desperate ploy to prop up her radical redistricting referendum by delaying action until after Election Day. These changes don’t fix the bills; they merely attempt to rebrand blatant violations of law-abiding Virginians’ Second Amendment rights. Such cynical political maneuvers reveal not only her contempt for constitutional freedoms, but also her disregard for the hundreds of thousands of responsible gun owners across the Commonwealth. Our message to the Governor remains the same. We’ll see you in court”
We run the gamut today with Andy Hooser. Swalwell out, Mark Kelly embarrasses himself…again, VA civil rights deadline TODAY, and Judge Roger Benitez in CA, retires, taking years of pro 2A rulings in that commie state with him…will there ever be another like him in CA?

On the table: Of course a VA update with some prognosis and theories as to why the Wicked Witch of VA has yet to sign her unconstitutional signature gun grabber bills. What is she waiting for any why? Does huge Republican turnout against her unconstitutional redistrcting have anything to do with her timing? Will she simply let them become law without her signature? Likely NOT so why the wait? Recent court cases and SCOTUS action, or rather, lack thereof and more with Cam Edwards!
Grand Rapids MI Mayor LaGrand makes stupid comments saying gun owners should be ashamed of themselves. In doing so he insulted millions of MI citizens, the states own constitution gun rights, sportsman, hunters. Trying to walk it back a couple days later made things worse. Iran and the potential for harm in the mid-terms that could upend the Trump admin agenda, MN case on non-resident permit CCW and the arrest of a truck driver-what happens next if you can’t get a non-resident permit and are simply passing through or temporararily working in a state that doesn’t recognize your permit to carry. Bondi and DOJ seeminglydefending continued harrassment of gun owners for posessing pistol brace rule under Biden Admin that has already been vacated by federal courts. WAT?
Jared joins Mark to dscuss the TRUMP DOJ defending the National Firearms Act (NFA) in TX case. At issues is the pistol brace rule, vacated by the federal courts over a year ago and whether the ATF/DOJ can still seek prosectution regardless of the “rule” being vacted by the federal courts due to the existance of NFA without congressional action to abolish it. Neil brings us up to speed in a short segment on the case and Bondi’s tenure at DOJ as AG.

Recent survey released today claims 19.3 million Americans, roughly 8% of American citizens , admit to wanting to shoot someone. The “survey” breaks down by category who the respondents claim to want to shoot including family members, strangers, politicians, etc. Conducted by UM in Michigan and released to JAMA, Mark calls bullshit…but disturbing nonetheless.
Lots to cover with Lee the Gunwriter Williams today! The way it should be. VA takes center stage as Dems have put 13 ant-rights bills on the Dem Guvs desk, all of which she will sign in the coming days including a tyrannical draconian gun ban. Good luck VA! You’re screwed as elections of Democrats come with unconstitutional laws and edicts.
VA citizens have very limited options now that all of the gun control bills are sitting comfortably on a Dem ocrat Tyrants desk awaiting her certain signature. In particular, the gun ban that passed this week rendering VA citizens powerless. What options are available was discussed in detail as well as the likely outcomes. Simple answer? Virginians are screwed.
Classic AAR Roundtable Encore presentation
As the VA legislative session winds down, Mark covers the latest news from the Commonwealth. The Democrat path to tyranny is becoming clearer as the days pass and the gun control bills begin to emerge from the House of Delegates. It looks like 18 gun control bills may reach the governors desk, setting the stage for her signature or not. If the tyrant Spanburger signs the bills they become law or she can simply let them become law without her signature as long as she doesn’t veto the bills…which she will not. Either way, law-abiding gun onwers are now facing the results of putting radical Democrats in charge of their state. The results are nothing short of the Californication of the once great state of VA. You get what you vote for.
NYPD makes huge bust and takes TWO “illegal” shotguns off the streets making the entire city sooooooo much safer. Then brags about it on X. Case v.
