👀 ✨ Únete a nuestra comunidad gratuita: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?.... 🤍 Apoya nuestro podcast aquí: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2540889/su... 📲 Conéctate con nosotras: Instagram, TikTok and our Facebook bajo: @nomasyesgirls 📧 Correo electrónico: [email protected] 💬 ¡Mándanos un DM, deja un comentario o escríbenos por email! Send us Fan Mail What if some of the lessons we’re learning about healing… are things our families have been saying for generations? 🤎 In this episode of No Más Yes Girls, we’re having an honest sister check-in about where we are in life, what we’ve been learning, and how much our perspectives on healing, growth, and ourselves have changed. Vieney has been diving deeper into the **universal laws of life**—and realizing how many of these ideas connect back to the Mexican dichos and sayings we grew up hearing. You know the ones: “Lo que siembras, cosechas.” Sometimes our abuelos and parents were explaining life lessons long before we had the vocabulary to understand them. 😂 Meanwhile, Viviann has been learning about **biocoding** and using it as a personal reflection tool to look deeper at emotional patterns, past experiences, family dynamics, and what she feels may be underneath some of the things she’s carried for years. We talk about what these practices have been teaching us, how our understanding of our childhood has changed, the patterns we’re becoming more aware of, and what healing actually looks like for us right now. Not perfect. Not finished. Just two Mexican-American sisters realizing that sometimes growth is simply being able to look at the same story with new eyes. In this conversation we talk about: ✨ Universal laws and life lessons ✨ Mexican dichos and generational wisdom ✨ Biocoding and emotional reflection ✨ Healing childhood wounds ✨ Family patterns and generational cycles ✨ First-generation Mexican-American experiences ✨ Self-awareness and personal growth ✨ Learning to question what we were taught ✨ Breaking cycles without blaming our parents ✨ Becoming more intentional about the lives we want to create If you’re also in a season of questioning, unlearning, healing, or simply getting to know yourself again… bienvenida. 🤎 🎙️ No Más Yes Girls is a bilingual podcast hosted by two Mexican-American sisters having the conversations many of us were taught to keep quiet. “Tengo demasiadas deudas.” “Estoy muy atrasada.” “¿Qué va a pensar mi familia?” ✨ Únete a nuestra comunidad gratuita: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?.... 🤍 Apoya nuestro podcast aquí: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2540889/su... 📲 Conéctate con nosotras: Instagram, TikTok and our Facebook bajo: @nomasyesgirls 📧 Correo electrónico: [email protected] 💬 ¡Mándanos un DM, deja un comentario o escríbenos por email! Send us Fan Mail What if starting over doesn’t mean you failed? What if it means you finally stopped forcing a life that no longer felt like yours? In this episode of No Más Yes Girls, we sit down with Lorena Miranda Bendeck, creator of Lorena & Her Audacity, @LorenaMirandaBendeck (in all socials) for an honest conversation about what it really looks like to completely change your life after 40. Lorena left the United States, moved to Colombia, and started rebuilding her life while carrying around $40,000 in debt. Check her out here: https://linktr.ee/LorenaMirandaBendeck?utm_source=linktree_profile_share<sid=cf84c7e5-dd61-4185-86fa-18e3fd59cec8 She didn’t wait until everything was perfect. She didn’t wait until the fear disappeared. She didn’t wait until everyone understood her decision. She simply reached a point where she knew: Something had to change. And that’s what makes her story so relatable. Because starting over doesn’t always look like the pretty “new chapter” we see online. Sometimes it looks like: fear, debt, uncertainty, grief, questioning yourself, and wondering if you’re making the biggest mistake of your life. In this conversation, we talk about: ✨ Starting over after 40 ✨ Leaving the U.S. and rebuilding a life in Colombia ✨ Carrying $40K in debt while making a major life change ✨ The shame and emotions that can come with money ✨ Feeling like you “should have everything figured out” by a certain age ✨ The fear of what other people will think ✨ People-pleasing and constantly trying to keep everyone comfortable ✨ Feeling guilty when you finally choose yourself ✨ Letting go of an old version of yourself ✨ The grief that can come with positive change ✨ Learning to trust yourself without having every answer ✨ Faith, intuition, and letting go of control ✨ Relationships and how they change when you change ✨ Redefining success as you get older ✨ Learning that peace can sometimes feel unfamiliar after years of survival mode ✨ Having the audacity to be seen while you are still figuring things out One of the biggest things we talk about is this: You do not have to hate your life to be allowed to change it. Sometimes nothing is completely “wrong.” You’ve simply grown. You want something different. The version of you who built that life is not necessarily the same version of you who has to keep living it forever. And choosing a different path does not mean the years before were wasted. Lorena’s story is also a reminder that you don’t need the perfect plan before you begin. Sometimes clarity comes after you take the first step. Sometimes the plan gets built while you’re already walking. And sometimes the very chapter that feels like everything is falling apart becomes the chapter where you finally meet yourself. ☕️ Like always, this episode feels less like a formal interview and more like three women sitting around the table with cafecito, talking about money, relationships, fear, faith, culture, starting over, and all the messy parts of choosing yourself. 🎙️ No Más Yes Girls is a bilingual podcast where two sisters have honest conversations about healing, family, identity, boundaries, culture, growth, and learning to choose ourselves without guilt. If you’ve ever thought: “I’m too old to start over.” “I have too much debt.” “I’m too far behind.” “What will people say?” “What if I make the wrong decision?” this episode is for you. Because maybe audacity isn’t having no fear. Maybe audacity is saying: “I’m scared… but I trust myself enough to figure it out.” 🤎 Support the show Join our Free Community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/791876950500231 Support our Podcast! Send us Fan Mail What if financial freedom isn’t just about making more money… but about changing the way you think, feel, and make decisions around it? In this episode of No Más Yes Girls, we sit down with Dr. Jacqueline “Coach JJ” Jarl, author of My Journey to Financial Freedom: A Memoir of Identity, Healing, and Wealth Building. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jjscoachingservices/ Dr. Jacqueline shares her real journey from financial uncertainty to building a seven-figure net worth in seven years and retiring at just 38 years old as a multimillionaire. Linkdin: https://www.linkedin.com/company/jj-s-coaching-services/ Website: www. jjscoachingservices.com But what makes her story so powerful is that it wasn’t just about budgets, spreadsheets, or discipline. It was also about: ✨ Healing her relationship with money ✨ Changing old beliefs around success and security ✨ Learning how identity affects the way we make financial decisions ✨ Building wealth without losing herself in the process ✨ Becoming more intentional instead of constantly chasing “more” ✨ Learning to trust herself ✨ Redefining what success actually means ✨ Creating a life where money supports her freedom instead of controlling it Dr. Jacqueline was raised between Taiwan and the United States, later served as a U.S. Army Intelligence Officer, and went on to hold leadership positions within a Fortune 250 organization. Through all of those chapters, she learned that outward success doesn’t automatically create inner peace. You can have the career. The title. The paycheck. The accomplishments. And still feel uncertain, anxious, or disconnected from what you actually want. That’s why this conversation goes much deeper than money. We talk about the emotional side of wealth, identity, healing, career decisions, self-trust, and what happens when you stop building a life based only on what looks successful from the outside. One of the biggest reminders from this episode is: Financial freedom isn’t only reaching a number. It’s being able to make decisions from clarity instead of fear. It’s knowing what “enough” means for you. It’s having the freedom to choose how you spend your time, energy, and life. And sometimes the hardest part isn’t learning how to earn more. It’s unlearning everything you believed you had to prove first. ☕️ Like always, this episode of No Más Yes Girls isn’t a formal interview. It’s an honest conversation about the woman behind the accomplishments, the lessons she learned the hard way, and the mindset shifts that changed her life. If you’ve ever thought: “I’m doing everything I’m supposed to do… so why don’t I feel free yet?” this conversation is for you. 🤎 📖 Check out Dr. Jacqueline Jarl’s memoir: https://amzn.to/4xkZuz7 My Journey to Financial Freedom: A Memoir of Identity, Healing, and Wealth Building 🎙️ No Más Yes Girls is a bilingual podcast where two sisters have honest conversations about healing, identity, money, family, boundaries, growth, and learning to build a life that actually feels like yours. “No contestes.” “Haz caso.” “Ayuda en la casa.” “No hagas enojar a tu papá.” Simplemente vas aprendiendo mientras avanzas. ✨ Únete a nuestra comunidad gratuita: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... 🤍 Apoya nuestro podcast aquí: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2540889/su... 📲 Conéctate con nosotras: Instagram, TikTok and our Facebook bajo: @nomasyesgirls 📧 Correo electrónico: [email protected] 💬 ¡Mándanos un DM, deja un comentario o escríbenos por email! #NoMasYesGirls #firstgen #cyclebreakers #latinas #softlife #boundaries #healing #growth #women #viralvideos #mexico #latinas #parati #podcast Support the show Join our Free Community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/791876950500231 Support our Podcast! Send us Fan Mail What if the rules you’ve been following your whole life were never actually written… but somehow you still learned them? In this episode of No Más Yes Girls, we sit down with Jessica Rivera, executive coach and business consultant, for a real conversation about the unwritten rules women are taught to follow at work, in relationships, in family, and in life. You know the ones: Be nice. Don’t be difficult. Don’t ask for too much. Work hard and someone will notice. Don’t make people uncomfortable. Be grateful. Don’t brag. Don’t take up too much space. And then one day you realize… following all of those rules might be the exact thing keeping you small. Jessica shares her personal journey, the experiences that shaped her, and what she’s learned from helping women advocate for themselves, grow their confidence, navigate corporate spaces, and stop waiting for permission to want more. make sure to follow Jessica on socials: https://www.instagram.com/jessicarivera.co/ and checkout her website (click below) for her Get Promoted. Because sometimes being a “good girl,” a good employee, a good daughter, or the person everyone can depend on looks admirable from the outside… while inside, you’re exhausted from constantly proving yourself. This episode is a reminder that confidence doesn’t always come before the scary step. Sometimes confidence is built because you finally took the step while you were still scared. ☕️ Like always, this isn’t a formal interview. It’s a kitchen-table conversation between women talking honestly about work, identity, self-worth, boundaries, and becoming the person you were always allowed to be. 🎙️ Welcome to No Más Yes Girls, a bilingual podcast where two sisters heal out loud and have the conversations many of us grew up avoiding. A veces viene a despertarnos. Tal vez claridad no significa saber exactamente qué va a pasar. Send us Fan Mail What happens when you realize some of the “rules” you grew up following were never actually yours? In this episode of No Más Yes Girls, we sit down with author, filmmaker, and speaker Denise Soler Cox for an honest conversation about the cultural taboos so many Latina women grow up carrying in silence. Denise is the author of "What Will They Say? Confront Cultural Taboos and Discover Your Inner Power", a book about the unspoken expectations that can shape the way we see ourselves, our families, our dreams, and even how much space we believe we're allowed to take up. We talk about things many of us know all too well: ✨ “¿Qué va a decir la gente?” ✨ Keeping family problems inside the home ✨ Being the “good daughter” ✨ People-pleasing and always saying yes ✨ Feeling guilty for choosing yourself ✨ Family loyalty vs. telling your truth ✨ First-generation identity ✨ The mother-daughter relationship ✨ Breaking generational patterns without rejecting our culture ✨ Learning to use your voice after years of staying quiet But this conversation isn't about blaming our families or being ashamed of where we come from. It’s about asking: What do I want to keep from the way I was raised… and what am I finally ready to let go of? Denise also opens up about the personal experiences that shaped her, why telling our stories can be so powerful, and what it means to become a woman who no longer has to make herself smaller to belong. Make sure to follow her on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/denisesolercox?igsh=MTVkaGRnd2EzZjNzaA== This wasn't an interview. It felt like sitting around the kitchen table talking about the things so many of us grew up feeling… but didn't always have the words for. If you've ever felt caught between loving your family and needing to choose yourself, this conversation is for you.🤍 📖 What Will They Say? by Denise Soler Cox releases August 18, 2026. No queremos entrevistas perfectas. Queremos conversaciones reales. Tal vez no estabas quedándote atrás. #NoMasYesGirls #firstgen #cyclebreakers #latinas #softlife #boundaries #healing #growth #women #viralvideos #mexico #latinas #parati #podcast Support the show Join our Free Community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/791876950500231 Support our Podcast! After taking the summer off, we came back with a completely different perspective on healing, rest, and what it really means to grow. Send us Fan Mail There was a moment in my life when I realized…I wasn’t actually confused. I just didn’t want to accept what I already felt. In this episode of No More Yes Girls, I open up about what clarity has really looked like in my healing journey — and how it didn’t come from waiting for answers, but from finally being honest with myself. For a long time, I told myself “I don’t know”…when deep down, I did. I just knew that if I accepted the truth, I would have to change something — set boundaries, outgrow people, or choose myself in ways that felt uncomfortable. In this episode, I share: • Why what I thought was confusion was actually avoidance • How fear of change kept me stuck in “I don’t know” • What happened when I started being honest with myself • How my body was signaling misalignment before I could admit it • Why clarity felt uncomfortable before it felt peaceful • How taking action helped me gain clarity • What choosing myself really looked like in real life If you’ve been feeling stuck, unsure, or like you don’t know what to do next… I want you to know you’re not alone. Clarity isn’t something you’re missing. Sometimes… it’s something you’re avoiding. And once I allowed myself to see clearly… everything started to shift. Send us Fan Mail There are moments in life when we don’t have all the answers… but something in our spirit tells us it’s time to trust. In this episode of No More Yes Girls, we talk about what it really means to trust God, the universe, and the greater source guiding our lives. We share what it looks like to take a leap of faith into the unknown and believe that everything will work out exactly the way it’s meant to. As sisters, we open up about our own journeys of trusting the process. Vieney shares how she took a leap of faith by leaving the traditional path and becoming a full-time content creator — following her passion for cooking, storytelling, and building a community online while creating this podcast. Viviann shares her experience of stepping fully into her calling as a teacher and guide in the healing space, helping others reconnect with themselves and grow spiritually. In this conversation we explore: • What it means to trust when the future feels uncertain • The fear that shows up right before a leap of faith • Gratitude as a daily spiritual practice • How abundance begins to flow when we stop resisting life • Living in alignment with purpose, faith, and intuition Sometimes we think we need to have everything figured out before we take the next step… but often the miracle happens after we decide to trust. When we surrender control, stay grateful, and follow the calling placed on our hearts, life begins to open doors we never expected. We talk about: • missing a life you never fully lived • the quiet grief of being in between cultures • why Mexico feels regulating to the nervous system • and how healing doesn’t always feel “light” — sometimes it feels like remembering If you’ve ever gone back and felt comfort, sadness, belonging, and loss all at once… this episode is for you. Send us Fan Mail We didn’t wake up healed. We woke up different. In this end-of-year reflection, we look back and realize something unexpected — healing didn’t just change our mindset… it changed our nervous systems, our boundaries, and the choices we were finally brave enough to make. Including one of the biggest ones: Vieney quitting her job indefinitely in the middle of the year. Not because everything was figured out..but because survival mode no longer felt like an option. In this episode, we talk about: • the moment survival mode finally shut off • how being present felt unfamiliar at first • why soft life isn’t lazy — it’s regulated • what stopped us from people-pleasing without guilt • how boundaries became protection, not punishment • why healing sometimes leads to uncomfortable but necessary leaps This episode is for anyone who feels calmer, clearer, and slightly untethered this year — wondering if they’re losing stability or finally choosing themselves. Send us Fan Mail Growing up first-gen, we were raised to “fit in,” follow rules, and not question systems — especially school. But what happens when your child doesn’t fit inside the boxes those systems were built on? In this episode, Viviann opens up about discovering AuDHD — what it is, what it feels like from the inside, and why so many kids in our community go unseen, mislabeled, or misunderstood. She shares the quiet heartbreak of watching a child struggle in environments that were never designed for neurodivergent minds… and the healing that began when she chose to honor her son’s needs instead of the expectations of others. Homeschooling wasn’t the plan — it was the answer. A choice rooted in protection, love, and freedom. A decision that broke generational patterns of pressure, comparison, and “qué va decir la gente.” This episode is for every parent who feels like they’re failing, every child who was called “too much” or “too sensitive,” and every first-gen family learning to trust their own intuition over outside opinions. Send us Fan Mail Sometimes the hardest part of healing isn’t the pain — it’s the letting go. In this episode, we talk about how the people who drift, disappear, distance themselves, or suddenly fall away… weren’t losses. They were releases. We don’t actually lose people. We lose the attachment to what they represented: • the comfort of the familiar • the version of ourselves we used to be • the approval we used to crave • the role we played for them • the validation we thought we needed When you heal, your energy shifts… and the relationships that can’t grow with you naturally fade away. That isn’t rejection — it’s alignment. If you’ve ever wondered: “Why did they leave?” “Did I do something wrong?” “Why do I feel abandoned?” This episode will help you understand that their exit wasn’t a reflection of your worth — it was a reflection of your evolution. ✨ Listen now and take back your power. Send us Fan Mail In this episode of No More Yes Girls, we dive into how comparison is normalized in our culture — from childhood comments like “Why can’t you be more like your cousin?” to adult reminders that someone else is prettier, thinner, more successful, married sooner, had kids earlier, or “did life right.” We explore: how comparison is used in families as motivation that actually becomes shame why first-gen daughters are especially affected by comparison how unspoken jealousy and expectations create quiet resentment how comparison becomes a lens we judge ourselves through healing the belief that our worth is relative to someone else’s life This episode is for anyone who’s ever felt: not enough behind less than too slow too different too “off the timeline” We talk about rewriting this pattern, reclaiming self-worth, and learning to celebrate yourself — without measuring your life against someone else’s. ✨ Listen to the full episode now. Send us Fan Mail Ever realize how the roles we were given growing up — the strong one, the quiet one, the fixer, buena/o para nada, the rebel — start to shape how we show up in life? Sometimes we don’t even notice we’re still living from someone else’s definition of who we are. In this episode, we talk about how easy it is to internalize the labels our families gave us and mistake them for our identity. How “you’ve always been like that” can become a prison instead of a truth. And how healing starts when you finally ask yourself: Who would I be without the label? Send us Fan Mail Growing up in a first-gen household, many of us became the “fixers.” The emotional mediators. The peace-keepers. The ones who tried to guide, teach, translate, protect — and sometimes… control. Not because we wanted power, but because survival taught us: ✨ “If I don’t fix it, it falls apart.” ✨ “If I don’t hold it together, no one will.” ✨ “If they change, then maybe we’ll finally feel safe.” In this episode, we get real about the difference between helping and fixing, loving and forcing, guiding and controlling. We explore: Why first-geners often become “fixers” The pressure to hold emotional responsibility for everyone Why it hurts when people don’t change, even when we “see their potential” The illusion of control and how it drains us How trying to save others can be a trauma response The moment healing begins when we let people be who they are Because healing isn’t about forcing growth — it’s learning to release it. To love without rescuing. To support without sacrificing ourselves. To lead with boundaries, not guilt. If you’ve ever felt responsible for other people’s healing, decisions, or happiness, this episode will speak to your heart. 💌 You don’t have to be the fixer to be loved. You don’t have to force change to feel safe. You are allowed to choose peace over control. Are you more of a fixer or a forcer — and what’s one thing you're learning to let go of right now? Send us Fan Mail In Mexican families, we grow up hearing “pobrecita, le ha ido tan mal” — but rarely “qué valiente por cambiar su vida.” We’ve learned to glorify pain, to measure worth by how much we’ve suffered, and to feel seen only when we’re struggling. But what happens when you stop identifying with your pain? When you decide that being strong doesn’t have to mean staying in survival mode? In this episode, we talk about what it’s like to outgrow the pobrecita narrative — the guilt that comes with healing, the discomfort of becoming “different,” and the courage it takes to be happy in a culture that romanticizes struggle. 🌿 We share our own stories of breaking that cycle — of choosing peace over pity, self-respect over guilt, and freedom over familiarity. Send us Fan Mail As first-gen daughters, we carry a quiet kind of guilt — the one that whispers, “You should be grateful, you shouldn’t need help.” We grew up watching our parents sacrifice everything, so somewhere along the way, asking for help started to feel like dishonoring their struggle. In this episode, we open up about the heavy guilt that comes with needing rest, support, or softness when you were raised to survive. We talk about how control became our comfort zone — a way to prove we were capable, worthy, and strong enough to carry the weight they once did. But healing asks us to release that pressure. To see that letting go of control doesn’t mean letting go of gratitude — it means finally trusting that we deserve ease, too. If you’ve ever felt guilty for resting, for needing help, or for not always being the strong one, this episode is for you. You’re not failing your family — you’re freeing them, and yourself, from the belief that love only exists in sacrifice. 💌 You’re allowed to receive, even if they never could. Send us Fan Mail Lately… we’ve been in a funk. Not quite sad, not quite okay — just somewhere in between. You know that space where you’re doing all the “right” things but still feel off? That’s where we’ve been sitting. In this episode, we get real about what it means to be in an emotional funk — those seasons where your energy dips, your motivation disappears, and even the things you love feel heavy. We talk about why it happens, how to move through it with compassion instead of guilt, and what it’s teaching us about slowing down, surrendering, and trusting our own timing. Because being “in a funk” doesn’t mean you’re failing — it means you’re feeling. It’s your mind and body asking for stillness, softness, and maybe a little less pressure to have it all figured out. Send us Fan Mail Divorce is one of those life events that can break you—or shape you. In this episode, we open up about what it was like growing up as first-gen daughters of divorced parents, and how that experience changed the way we see love, family, and ourselves. From learning independence too early, to carrying unspoken responsibilities, to navigating two households that felt like different worlds—divorce shaped so much of who we are. But instead of letting it define us in pain, we’re reflecting on how it actually became a catalyst for growth. We talk about the resilience it built, the empathy it gave us, and the lessons we now carry into our healing journey as mujeres. This isn’t about romanticizing the hard parts—it’s about reclaiming them. If you’ve ever felt torn between two sides of your family, struggled to create stability when it wasn’t handed to you, or learned to mother yourself in the absence of peace, this conversation is for you. Send us Fan Mail We’re Viviann and Vieney, two first-gen Mexican-American sisters who used to say yes to everything... until we realized it was costing us our peace, our softness, and our voice. In this first episode of No More Yes Girls, we’re getting raw, real, and reflective about: -Why we were conditioned to always say yes -The emotional cost of people-pleasing and overgiving-The generational cycles we’re unlearning-What led us to finally choose ourselves -Why we created this space for mujeres who are tired of living in survival mode. Whether you’re the “strong one,” the “good girl,” the first-gen daughter, or the woman who’s finally ready to start saying no without guilt.... this space is for you. We’re not experts. We’re not here to preach. We’re just two sisters healing out loud and inviting you to come with us.🫶🏽 Welcome to No More Yes Girls. You belong here.
