Today, on that anniversary, Pastor Gary reminds us of America’s Christian heritage and encourages us to stand firm in our faith and to maintain those Christian principles.

The Bible explains the existence of two kingdoms—the kingdom of LIGHT and the kingdom of DARKNESS. Every person in the world belongs to one of those kingdoms. Pastor Gary describes the territory of those kingdoms and what defines them. They are not earthly kingdoms, but they are real, spiritual dominions. The question is, to which kingdom do you belong?
An in-depth study of 2 Chronicles 4:9-6:21.
Human nature is generally discontent. We crave things that are newer and better, the latest and greatest. Companies launch major ad campaigns to convince customers and clients that their products or services are “new and improved.” After all, who wants “old and familiar”? But the Bible cautions against always desiring something better and instead encourages us to be content no matter the circumstances. Find out in today’s study how to be content in a discontent world as Pastor Gary walks us through the closing verses of the book of Philippians.
An in-depth study of 2 Chronicles 3-4.
Many people believe that Jesus existed. Many even believe that He did miracles, died, and rose from the dead. Yet still, many might wonder, “Why is this relevant to me?” In today’s message, Pastor Gary offers four reasons why the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus should matter to you. If you’ve ever wondered how God could love, forgive, and save you, you will be encouraged by today’s message from John 20.
Pastor Gary Hamrick sits down with Pastor Lon Solomon to discuss the true meaning of the Passover.
In this Palm Sunday message from Luke 19, Pastor David Guzik looks at the story of Zacchaeus and discovers the difference between a superficial response to Jesus and a sincere, life-changing one. Be encouraged to seek Him, receive Him joyfully, and welcome Him fully into your life.
In 2 Chronicles 1–2, Solomon begins with humility, asking God for wisdom—but his story quickly becomes a warning about how little compromises can lead to devastating consequences. This message encourages us to walk in obedience, steward God’s blessings faithfully, and live in a way that points others to Him.
Many people suffer from anxious, fearful, or worrisome thoughts. Life can bombard and overwhelm us at times. How can we find relief from troubling thoughts and fears? Join us as Pastor Gary Hamrick interviews Shannon Bream about her new book, "Nothing is Impossible with God!".
Is your name written in the Book of Life? The Book of Life is mentioned eight times in the New Testament (once in Philippians and seven times in Revelation). The Bible teaches that this book lists all the names of people who are going to spend eternity in heaven with Jesus. If your name is not in the book, you will be denied access to heaven. So how can you be sure your name will be listed in the Book of Life? Find out in today’s study from Philippians 4 with Pastor Gary.
Join us for a special Midweek Q&A night where Pastor Gary, Tyler, & Austin Hamrick do their best to answer your Bible Questions!
Paul compares the Christian life to that of running a race. It’s an appropriate analogy because there is a starting line (when you accept Christ), a finish line (when you step from this life into eternity), and a prize at the end (heaven). Some have gotten off to a late start, others have had a slow start, and all of us have stumbled at some point along the race. But the only thing that matters is finishing well! In Philippians 3, Paul outlines three things to encourage us to run with endurance and to finish well.
An in-depth discussion of 1 Chronicles 24:20-29:30.
Most people pursue things that bring them happiness or pleasure in this lifetime: accomplishments, awards, degrees, rank, money, likes and followers. But at the end of the day, nothing compares to knowing Jesus! In Philippians 3, Paul wrote about all his many accomplishments and accolades that he achieved in his lifetime, but he said it was all “rubbish” (dung) compared to the excellence of knowing Christ! Do you know Jesus? There’s a difference between knowing “about” Jesus and knowing Him personally. Pastor Gary explains this in today’s study titled, “Nothing Compares to Jesus!”
An in-depth study of 1 Chronicles 22-24.
Did you know that God is revealing Himself to you on a daily basis? In Psalm 19, David explains how the Lord reveals Himself predominantly in two ways-through creation and His Word. God’s voice compels David to respond by helping him recognize his own sinful condition. Do you recognize God's voice when He speaks? Join us as Pastor Austin unpacks Psalm 19.
An in-depth study of 1 Chronicles 20:4-21:30.
God calls us to live our faith out loud for others to see and hear about Jesus. Paul reminds us that we live in a “crooked and perverse generation,” and today's study from Philippians 2 shows us that it is for that reason we must shine the light of Jesus in this dark world.
An in-depth study of 1 Chronicles 17:15-20:3.
All relationships take work. Whether in the church or outside the church—in marriages and families, and between friends, co-workers, and neighbors—wherever you have two sinners, you have the potential for disagreement and conflict. Our human default is selfishness which leads to division. But in Philippians 2, Paul tells us that unity comes from humility, and humility comes from following the example of Christ. Follow along in today’s study as we look at Christ's example to encourage us to walk in His humility.
An in-depth study of 1 Chronicles 16:8-17:14.
Have you ever thought about heaven and wanted to go there sooner than later? Paul wrote in Philippians 1:21, “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” He didn’t have a “death wish” with dark thoughts of wanting to escape this world; he simply longed for heaven and was ready to go whenever God called him home. Sometimes the weight of this world can cause our heavy hearts to long for our eternal reward. Find out more about heaven in today’s study with Pastor Gary Hamrick.
An in-depth study of 1 Chronicles 16.
Antisemitism and anti-Israel views are creeping into Christian and conservative communities. Pastor Gary Hamrick, along with guests Pastor Rob McCoy, Samuel Smadja, and former Congressman Bob McEwen, delivers a Biblical response to replacement theology, US support for Israel, the October 7th attacks, and the takes from Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson. Watch this timely message to understand the real issues and stand firm in truth!
Sometimes we think that God is absent during our difficult circumstances. Paul was “in chains” in prison in Rome for preaching the Gospel, yet he wrote about how much joy he had! How can someone in prison have such joy? Answer: because his joy was in Jesus and he understood that, regardless of his circumstances, God was accomplishing His divine purposes. That is why Paul would write in Philippians 1:13, “my chains are in Christ.” In today’s study, Pastor Gary shares how we can have joy in our difficult circumstances too with the right eternal perspective.
An in-depth study of 1 Chronicles 14-15.
When we come to faith in Jesus Christ, God does not abandon us. On the contrary, He sends His Spirit to dwell in us and abide with us to help us run the race with perseverance. God is as much at work in bringing us to salvation as He is at work in keeping us saved! But it’s not all on Him. We have a responsibility to “work out our salvation” too. Pastor Gary explains this encouraging promise in today’s study from Philippians 1:6.
An in-depth study of 1 Chronicles 11-13.
Join us for our annual Q&A Service with Gary, Tyler and Austin Hamrick.
An in-depth study into the Magi.
Christmas is too important to breeze by. And yet many people will walk past the nativity story with its good and joyful news of God coming to man in favor of the world’s trinkets and distractions. It is time we stopped and realized what the Christmas story is all about: the Son of God entering our world to be with us, bleed for us, and rescue us.
In Luke 2, Simeon prophesied that baby Jesus was destined for the fall and rising of many. Jesus is a very polarizing figure. He is the most divisive person in human history, attracting some and repelling others like a magnet. How will you respond to the person of Jesus today?
An in-depth study of 1 Chronicles 9-10.
A day of thanking God for what He has accomplished through the generosity of His church.
A special Wednesday night service celebrating what God has done in the lives of people from Cornerstone Chapel.
The Bible tells us that we are in a spiritual battle—an unseen war in the heavenly realm that rages over us. Satan will try to tempt, discourage, deceive, confuse, and harm us. He and his demonic principalities want to destroy our marriages, our families, our churches, and our very lives. But in Ephesians 6, Paul explains how we can take a stand against the Enemy and trust the Lord to fight for us. In today’s study, Pastor Gary unpacks this passage and then prays over all those who are under spiritual attack.
An in-depth study of 1 Chronicles 6-9.
God gives us instructions in the Bible for how to experience the most harmony and unity within a marriage, a family, and the workplace. But we must first understand submission to the Lord before we can “submit to one another in the fear of the Lord” (Ephesians 5:21). How we relate with and respond to one another depends on our own walk with the Lord. Follow along in Ephesians 5–6 as Pastor Gary unpacks Biblical truth for wives, husbands, children, parents, and co-workers.
An in-depth study of 1 Chronicles 2-6.
Christianity is not only about what we believe, but also about how we behave. If we are truly followers of Christ, we should live out our faith in a way that glorifies Him. In the second half of Ephesians, Paul instructs us how to figuratively “walk out our faith.” Five times in Ephesians 4–5, Paul tells us specific ways to walk as followers of Christ. Pastor Gary discusses these five ways in today’s teaching entitled, “Putting Feet to Your Faith.”
Do you need prayer today? In Ephesians 3, Paul prays for Believers. He asks God for four things on our behalf: (1) that we would be strengthened spiritually, (2) that Christ would “dwell” in our hearts, (3) that we would comprehend the expanse of God’s love for us, and (4) that we would be filled with the fullness of God. In this study, Pastor Gary breaks down Ephesians 3 and prays these four points over us.
An in-depth study of 1 Chronicles 1-2.
We are headed into an AI-dominated world. Some might think that statement an exaggeration, but if you turn on the news, you’ll quickly notice that artificial intelligence is everywhere you look and negatively impacting the next generation. In today’s message, Pastor Austin addresses this subject directly; encouraging the church to think Biblically about the rise of AI, its current impact on the modern church, and the way it may be used in the future deception that is to come.
An in-depth study of the mystery of the time of lawlessness in the Bible.
Pastor Garid Beeler teaches from 1 Peter 1 on finding living hope in the midst of suffering and trials. Even when faith is tested, God is refining and strengthening His people for His glory. Be encouraged to stand firm, resist the enemy, and trust that every trial has purpose — shaping you more into the image of Christ.
An in-depth study of the mystery of the rapture.
We are all born dead. Does that sound like a contradiction? It’s not. This paradox is the theme of Ephesians 2: that we are all born physically alive but spiritually dead, and that the only way we are made spiritually alive is by trusting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. He takes our dead lives and makes them alive! Paul tells us there are three things that work to keep us dead, and three things that work to make us alive. Find out in today’s study as Pastor Gary shares a message entitled, “Dead or Alive?”
An in-depth study of 2 Kings 23:30-25:20.
We are living in a world of identity confusion. Our culture is wrestling with questions about sexuality, biology, and definitions of “male” and “female.” Would you be surprised to learn that this is nothing new? Ancient cultures wrestled with the same issues, particularly in the city of Ephesus. When Paul stepped into Ephesus to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, he encountered the same chaos that our culture is experiencing today. In response, he wrote Ephesians 1 to remind us Christians of our identity in Christ, so that we can know who we are and whose we are! Only then will we be able to deliver the Gospel to this identity-confused world.
An in-depth study of 2 Kings 22:1-23:30.
There is a principle in life that the Bible teaches called the law of “sowing and reaping.” It’s particularly true for Christians who have a choice about whether they will feed their spirit or their flesh. The spirit is that part within us that is redeemed and eternal; the flesh is unredeemed and temporary. The spirit wants to please the Lord, and the flesh wants to gratify the sinful nature. If we nurture our spiritual nature we will reap eternal life. But if we nurture our fleshly nature, we will reap destruction. Follow along today as Pastor Gary teaches the Biblical principle of sowing and reaping and how it applies to different aspects of life.
When a person becomes a Christian, a battle begins between the flesh and the spirit. The flesh is that part of our lives that desires sinful things; the spirit is that part of our lives that wants to glorify God. Our flesh always wants to dominate, but the Bible tells us to die to self and live in the spirit. Paul writes about this spiritual battle in Galatians 5, and he gives us three practical ways we can win the war within. Follow along in today’s study as Pastor Gary explains this battle of the flesh and spirit.
An in-depth study of 2 Kings 20:11-21:26.
After the assassination of Charlie Kirk, many are feeling grief, anger, and sadness. Paul asked the Galatians, “Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?” (Galatians 4:16). Unfortunately, when we live the truth and tell the truth, many will see us as their enemy. Jesus said that some will even hate us (John 15:18-19). Nevertheless, God calls us to love people, to be bold ambassadors of the truth, and to be unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s time for the church to be the voice of Biblical truth to a dark and evil world!
There are many differences among people—including ethnic, socio-economic, and biological differences. But that does not matter when it comes to our standing in Christ. Paul says that all Believers are ONE in Christ. But the culture views things differently. The culture either denies our differences altogether or exploits our differences to divide people through class warfare and race-baiting. But the church should be the most diverse and unified group of any people on the planet. Join us for today’s Bible study, “One in Christ.”
An in-depth study of 2 Kings 19-20:11.
The Old Testament Law tells us that anyone who violates just one of God’s commandments is guilty of breaking them all, and that every “lawbreaker” is under a curse. But the good news is that Jesus Christ bore the curse intended for us when He was nailed to a tree! Jesus reversed the curse! Follow along in today’s Bible study as Pastor Gary shares the importance of faith over law and how we are justified by faith alone in Christ alone.
Sometimes Christians are reluctant to be bold in their faith for fear of what others may think. Even the apostle Peter briefly fell into this trap, and Paul had to confront him about his hypocrisy. "Quiet Christianity" is when you act one way around some people, and a different way around other people who do not share your beliefs. In today's study, Pastor Gary gives us steps to overcome "quiet Christianity" so that we can be bold and courageous in our faith.
An in-depth study of 2 Kings 17:34-18:37.
Many well-meaning people believe that being a good person is good enough to get to heaven. But the truth is, there is only one way—salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone! Jesus is the only way to heaven. In the book of Galatians, Paul addresses this important truth and says that any person or demon who tells you a “different gospel” should be accursed! Join Pastor Gary for today’s study from Galatians 1.
An in-depth study of 2 Kings 16:17-17:33.
Join us as Ryan Ries, co-founder of The Whosoevers Movement, teaches about the battle between the flesh and the Spirit. An in-depth study of 2 Kings 15:32-16:16.
“A thorn in the flesh” can be anything or anyone that causes you pain or suffering. Paul did not define exactly what his was, but it may have been physical affliction or external opposition. Either way, his "thorn" was painful and difficult, and he learned much from his trial as he persevered through it. How well do you handle the pain in your life? What is your “thorn in the flesh” and how should you persevere through it? Pastor Gary gives an encouraging word to help those who are going through trials in today’s study from 2 Corinthians 12.
An in-depth study of 2 Kings 14:14-15:31.
In 2 Corinthians 12, Paul spoke, in the third person, of a revelation of heaven that was too wonderful to describe so that he would not appear to be bragging. But there are more than 575 other passages in the Bible that describe heaven. Pastor Gary shares seven points about the “Hope of Heaven” and invites people to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior so that they can enjoy heaven for eternity after they die. Are you certain that you are going to heaven when you die? Join us for today’s teaching so that you can be sure!
An in-depth study of 2 Kings 13 & 14:1-14.
In a recent Barna study, a mere one fifth of self-identified Christians believe that Satan is living and impactful. However, the Bible is clear that Satan is not only a real, living being, but he is also hard at work in our world seeking to wreak havoc and oppose God and those who follow God. In today’s message, Pastor Austin unpacks the “ministry” of Satan so that we don’t fall prey to the strategies of the Enemy.
In light of the Texas flash-flood that claimed the lives of more than 120 people, including 36 children, many people are left with unanswered questions. The most common question people ask when struck with tragedy is, "Why, God?" Have you ever asked God, "Why?" Have you ever been through suffering that has left you confused and wondering why God didn’t seem to intervene? In today's teaching, Pastor Gary addresses the hard questions people ask when facing tragedy and offers hope and comfort.

An in-depth study of 2 Kings 11-12
Samson was a man of great potential, empowered by the Spirit, and given a task from his mother’s womb. But he lived a life of compromise. The little ways that Samson gave way to sin soon grew, leading to terrible consequences that culminated in his death. But even from this fallen man we can see an imperfect type of Christ: a prophesied deliverer who defeated the enemy most in his death. We can also learn that despite how far a person drifts from the Lord, we serve a faithful and merciful God who still draws near to those who cry out to Him.

Have you ever felt agitated without cause, discouraged without reason, or tempted beyond usual? Have you ever had senseless bickering with your spouse, or weird misunderstandings with a friend? These can be examples of spiritual attacks that we all go through. There are spiritual forces of evil at war with spiritual forces of good fighting over us in the unseen realm, which is just as real as the material, physical world in which we live even though we often are unaware of the battle we are in. Today, Pastor Gary teaches about the weapons of our warfare that help us to fight these battles.
An in-depth study of 2 Kings 3-4.
Did you know that giving is one of the Christian disciplines like faith, speech, knowledge, diligence, and love for others? That’s exactly what Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 8:7. The Bible has more than 2,300 verses about money and material things. Jesus spoke more about money than He spoke about faith and prayer combined. In today’s study, Pastor Gary shares five principles of generous giving from 2 Corinthians 8–9.

There are a lot of misconceptions on the subject of angels. Many picture them as little chubby cherubs playing their harps in the clouds, but that could not be further from the truth. The Bible has a lot to say about this supporting cast of characters and their role in human affairs. In today’s study, Pastor Austin addresses questions such as, “What are angels?” “What do angels look like?” “What do they do?” “Do they have bodies?” “Are there different kinds and ranks of angels?” and many more.
We can commonly fall into discouragement when in seasons of suffering, but the apostle Paul pens this letter to the Philippians to reshape the Believer’s perspective. Join us as Pastor Austin unpacks five timely principles from Philippians 1, helping us find a new perspective in the middle of pain.
An in-depth study of Hebrews 1.
Have you ever had a conflict with someone? Have you ever battled fears? Of course you have! Everyone has. In 2 Corinthians 7, Paul admits to “outside conflicts and inside fears.” He dealt with physical distress on the outside from those who were opposed to him or his message, and he also battled emotional distress from fears within. Pastor Gary addresses these common issues that we all struggle with today in a teaching from 2 Corinthians 7.
The Bible encourages us to befriend unbelievers so that they might hear about Jesus and see Him in our lives, but the Bible also discourages us from forming partnerships, unions, or bonds with unbelievers. Paul warns us about this for two reasons: incompatibility and influence. Christians and non-Christians have different views, values, standards, and perspectives that will cause friction and strife within a partnership or union. In addition, the nonbeliever has the potential to influence the Believer in ways that might compromise him or her. Pastor Gary helps us to understand the wisdom of this passage in relation to dating, marriage, business relationships, and legally binding arrangements.
Join us for a special midweek Q&A night where Pastor Gary And Tyler Hamrick will do their best to answer your Bible Questions!

God’s grace is His unmerited, undeserved favor toward us. We are the recipients of God’s grace in various forms. Someone once defined “GRACE” with the acronym: God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. In 2 Corinthians 6:1, Paul warns us that it’s possible to receive God’s grace “in vain.” In other words, we can treat God’s grace with disgrace or contempt by how we behave. In today’s study, Pastor Gary warns us about the five ways we can receive God’s grace in vain.
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 8.
The word “reconciliation” means “to restore harmony.” We typically use the word in regard to either accounting practices (reconciling financial statements) or, more commonly, in regard to relationships. Whenever a friendship or marriage becomes strained or broken, but then an effort is made to repair the relationship, we say there has been “reconciliation.” Paul used this word to describe God’s pursuit of us in repairing our broken relationship with Him. Jesus died on the cross to bring us to God in the ultimate reconciliation!

The Bible tells us that there are three occasions of judgment from God. Which one you will face depends on who you are and what you have done (or not done), but the Bible says “we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:10). The three Judgments to come are (1) The Judgment of the Sheep and Goats (also called The Judgment of the Nations), (2) The Great White Throne Judgment, and (3) The Judgment Seat of Christ. In today’s teaching, Pastor Gary breaks down the differences between these three judgments and helps us to be prepared for the one we will each have to face.

It’s always important to keep an “eternal perspective” in life. As Christ-followers, we must remember that this life is only temporary. We are only passing through. Our ultimate reward is heaven, where we will trade our earthly bodies for glorified ones, our present sufferings for future glory, and our earthly dwellings for a heavenly home! In today’s study, Pastor Gary takes us through these topics that Paul writes about in 2 Corinthians 4–5.
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 20.
There is a lot of metaphorical language in the Bible about “light” and “darkness.” Paul uses that language in 2 Corinthians 4 to describe the Gospel of Christ as light that came to shine in a dark world. Jesus even said about Himself, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” (John 8:12). But why is it that some people don’t want to come into the light? In today’s study, Pastor Gary shares four reasons why some people are reluctant to step into the light, and what we can do to help them.
Pastor Gary and Seth Gruber sit down to discuss important issues in the pro-life movement.
From the studio at Cornerstone Chapel, Pastor Gary Hamrick shares a devotional regarding the inauguration of Donald Trump as America’s 47th president and what the impact of that might be for two (1) the role of the Church in America and (2) the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas. Tune in as Pastor Gary shares his views about current events and reminds us from Psalm 146 to keep our trust in the Lord.
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 19.
In 2 Corinthians 2:14–17, Paul compares our life in Christ to a Roman victory parade honoring a general after a successful military campaign. Such a parade in the first century A.D. would have included priests carrying censors with burning spices to fill the streets with a wonderful fragrance. In this analogy, Paul says Jesus is our general who leads us in triumphal procession, and we are like the ones spreading the fragrance of Him everywhere we go. It’s a reminder that not only is Jesus our Conquering King, but we are to spread the knowledge of Him everywhere we go! Are you spreading the fragrance of Christ? Join us as Pastor Gary shares from 2 Corinthians.

Yet he revealed his secret to “suffering well” and wrote about God’s comfort in the midst of his afflictions. If you are going through some difficult days, tune in to today’s Bible study as Pastor Gary draws out five key factors from Paul’s example in 2 Corinthians 1 that will help us to “suffer well.”

God brought forth His Son, Jesus Christ, “in the fullness of time” the Bible says in Galatians 4:4-5. That means that everything about the first Christmas was planned and executed by God at just the right time. God orchestrates times and seasons to bring forth His perfect plan—even in our lives too. Perhaps God is calling you into a personal relationship with Him through Jesus. Watch and listen as Pastor Gary shares how the Christmas story might be God’s “right time” for you.
For Christians, everything about our lives should be submitted under the lordship of Jesus Christ, including our money and material possessions. All that we have comes from the hand of God, so everything we gain and everything we give should be done to honor the Lord. In today’s study, Pastor Gary teaches from the last chapter of 1 Corinthians, where the Corinthian church asked Paul about the topic of money and giving. Follow along as we learn Biblical principles on the making and managing material things.
God gives Believers spiritual gifts for the purpose of edifying the Church and glorifying God. But over the years, there has been great debate within God’s Church about whether or not the gifts are still operational today. In today’s teaching from 1 Corinthians 12–14, Pastor Gary briefly addresses this topic as he speaks about the PURPOSE, PROOF, and PROPER use of the gifts of the Spirit in our day.
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 17 & 18.
A day of thanking God for what He has accomplished through the generosity of His church.
A special Wednesday night service celebrating what God has done in the lives of people from Cornerstone Chapel.
What does God think of smoking, vaping, tattooing, drinking, and piercings? And what about movies and music? There are plenty of issues today that are not clearly spelled out in the Bible for which God gives us liberty according to one’s personal conscience. Pastor Gary tackles these topics today to help us understand how to navigate the “disputable matters”—matters that don’t have a specific commandment in the Bible. Scripture teaches that there is a tension between personal liberty, our conscience, and our witness to others who are watching. Find out in today’s study how to keep that tension in a way that glorifies God.
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 15 & 16.
The average divorce rates for Americans are 42 percent for first marriages, 60 percent for second marriages, and 73 percent for third marriages. Since this affects so many people (the couple, the children, the extended family and friends, etc.), it is important to understand God’s view of divorce. What does the Bible say about this subject? And what does it mean for those who have been divorced? Is there forgiveness, healing, and life after divorce? Join Pastor Gary as he teaches through a challenging passage and sensitive subject in today’s study entitled, “God’s View of Divorce.”
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 14.
Whether you are single or married, God has something to say to you through the Bible. There are certain guidelines and parameters for us, no matter what our marital status, concerning how we are to conduct ourselves in relationships. In 1 Corinthians 7, Paul begins by addressing single adults and then moves on to discuss marriage and sex. In today’s study, Pastor Gary takes us through this passage to help us understand God’s view of singleness and marriage.
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 13.
While the culture shouts, “My body, my choice”, the Bible contradicts that for Believers. For Christians, Paul says that our bodies belong to the Lord, and we need to honor God with our bodies. Since our bodies include our sexuality, the question becomes—what does God expect of us in the area of sexuality? Paul gives us guidance about this in 1 Corinthians 6. Follow along as Pastor Gary shares today’s teaching entitled, “God’s View of Sex.”
Cornerstone's pastors lead in a night of prayer for the election and the future of the nation.
If someone begins a question with the phrase, “Do you not know?” this usually implies that either you did know, or should have known, but you failed to act. Paul begins six questions like this in 1 Corinthians 6 to correct some things that the Corinthian church was doing wrong. In today’s study, Pastor Gary tackles three of those questions to help us understand God’s perspective on lawsuits and lifestyles.
In today’s study from 1 Corinthians 5, Pastor Gary explains the rare, but sometimes necessary, need to exercise “church discipline”—the process by which church leadership confronts a person living in open, unrepentant sin, encourages the person to repent of that sin, but then removes the person from fellowship if he/she does not repent. And what if something like this is happening in your own home or extended family? How do you respond to those who are living in open, unrepentant sin but still expect you to just “love” and “accept” them rather than “judge” them. That’s the definition of “tolerance” in today’s culture. Listen or watch as Pastor Gary helps us to understand what true Biblical tolerance looks like.
Matthew Maher walks us through the enemy's playbook of how they deceived and perverted the truth in the past and how they still are at work today.
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 11:22-12.
On the anniversary of October 7th, Pastor Gary and former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann sit down to discuss Middle East events and to pray for Israel. Some of the current events happening in Israel are paralleled in Psalm 83, written 1,000 years before Christ. In today’s teaching from Psalm 83, Pastor Gary explains the reasons why many Arab Muslim states hate Israel and want its destruction.
Pastor James Ward shares how to represent Christ in the cultural crises we face today.
Since the beginning of time, God has had a plan to rescue the world through the cross of Jesus Christ. And then He says, “Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Acts 2:21). Paul describes this wonderful gift in 1 Corinthians 2, and Pastor Gary shares how a person can receive this gift through faith in Jesus Christ.
What hinders people from going on to maturity in their faith? That was the question concerning the church in Corinth. Paul writes his first epistle to them in response to questions they had had, and to correct them about what they were doing wrong. They were guilty of idolizing their leaders and of allowing a worldly “wisdom” to creep into the church. In today’s message, Pastor Gary addresses these things and warns us not to repeat their mistakes in a message entitled, “It’s Time to Grow Up!”
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 10:1-11:21.
Dr. Erwin Lutzer explores the meaning of truth in a world filled with lies and deception. He reflects on how truth is often distorted or "constructed" by those in power, and how concepts like "truthiness" have emerged in modern culture. Through biblical insights and examples from history, he explores the importance of standing firm in objective truth, even when it's costly. Join us as we discuss how truth, rooted in God's character, remains timeless and unchanging.
Join Pastor Gary and our pastors as we pray for the soul of America in the first of two special prayer meetings for this election season.
Christians need to be engaged in the 2024 presidential election. The freedoms we enjoy and the country that we love are in jeopardy. But Christians must unite if we are to make a difference. If our voices are not heard, and our votes are not counted, then every evil, demonic philosophy will fill the vacuum. But what if you don’t particularly like either candidate? What if you feel apathetic about this year’s election? Pastor Gary makes the argument that voting is not just a right, but a duty, and he helps us to understand how Christians can be involved in the political process.
An in-depth study of 1 Thessalonians 4.
The Bible tells us that there are “spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms,” meaning that there is an unseen battle being waged over us and around us. The evil forces are led by Satan, also known as the Devil, the Dragon, the Serpent (and other titles). Satan, also called Lucifer, was once a beautiful angel in heaven who recruited a third of the other angels in an attempted coup against God. But Satan lost that battle and was expelled from heaven, along with his army of angels (now known as “demons”), and he roams the earth today “like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.” In today’s teaching entitled “Crushing Satan”, Pastor Gary explains what spiritual warfare is, how we can withstand it, and how God fights for His children!
In Paul’s closing comments to the Church in Rome, he warns about the sin of divisiveness that can destroy a church, a family, or an organization. God hates divisiveness for two reasons—(1) because it is inconsistent with His nature, and (2) because the source of divisiveness is Satan. God is about reconciliation; Satan is about division. God brings together things that are broken; Satan breaks things that are brought together. Someone who is divisive is not operating in the spirit of Jesus, but in the spirit of Satan. This is why Paul warns about people who cause division. In today’s study, Pastor Gary explains how we can identity a divisive person from someone who is just different, with different ideas or opinions.
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 8:54-9:28.
Since life can be so challenging at times, all of us could use some extra patience, comfort, hope and peace. The good news is that God is all of those things and more! Paul writes in Romans 15 that God is the God of patience, the God of comfort, the God of hope, and the God of peace. In today’s study, Pastor Gary unpacks those titles for God and reminds us that He meets all of our needs in all those areas.
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 8.
The churches of Pergamum and Thyatira were really no different than the Church currently. The words Jesus spoke to these two churches are the same words He speaks to us today. By His help, may we overcome sin rather than overlook.
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 7.
Where there are differences among people, there is the potential for division. That is true in a business, a family, and certainly a church. Satan loves to take advantage of people’s differences to incite division, discord, and judgmentalism. This was the problem facing the church in Rome. So, Paul encourages them to accept one another as it relates to “disputable matters”—matters about which the Bible is either silent or not specific. In those cases, Paul wrote in Romans 14, we each must decide for ourselves what is right or wrong based on our own personal convictions. And then we must not judge one another for where our convictions might differ from someone else’s. Join Pastor Gary today as we learn how to keep unity and peace in the Body of Christ despite our many differences.
Paul tells us that we are living in the “last hour”. The Return of Christ is near. So how should we live while we are waiting in the constant expectancy of His Second Coming? Pastor Gary summarizes Paul’s instruction with five exhortations: (1) Wake up, (2) Cast off, (3) Put on, (4) Walk right, and (5) Think not about how to gratify sinful desires. Follow along in today’s study as we learn how to live godly lives while we wait for Christ’s Return.
An in-depth study of Luke 10:38-42.
It’s been said that love for God will get you to church but the fear of God will get you to Heaven. You see, many people say that they love God, but few people actually fear Him. But what does it even mean to fear the Lord? Should we be scared of God? In today’s message, Pastor Austin answers this question and touches on eight different benefits that the fear of the Lord produces in our lives.
An in-depth study of Psalm 25.

There are three institutions that God has ordained in this order: the Family, the Government, and the Church. In Romans 13, Paul describes the role of government and our responsibility to it. In today’s study, Pastor Gary answers four important questions about government: 1)What does the Bible say is the primary role of government? 2)Why should we submit to the governing authorities? 3)When is it OK to disobey governing authorities? 4)How did the Bible shape the United States government?
The first eleven chapters of Romans are DOCTRINAL, but the last five chapters of Romans are very PRACTICAL. And one of the themes Paul stresses in the last five chapters is our personal responsibility regarding how we treat one another. In fact, Paul uses the phrase “one another” ten times in the closing five chapters to help us understand the practical ways we can properly treat one another. How we treat one another is a direct reflection of our relationship with Christ.

Whenever we face a major decision in life, it’s important to discern God’s will on the matter. What is God’s will for where I live? Who I marry? What career path I take? The questions are endless. And God has a perfect will for your life. But even if you don’t hit the “bullseye” and discern His “perfect” will, there is still grace for God’s children. He will redirect your path to move you in step with His will as you humbly seek Him. In today’s study, Pastor Gary shares 5 principles for discerning God’s will.
Does God predetermine some people to go to Heaven and others to go to Hell? Did Jesus die only for the Elect (those whom God decided to save)? Does man have a free will to choose Jesus, or is that God’s choice? Pastor Gary answers these questions and more in today’s teaching on predestination and election.
An in-depth study of John 15.
Are the Jewish people God’s “chosen people”? And if so, why have most Jews not accepted Jesus as Messiah? Has the Church “replaced” Israel in terms of promises God made to her that now belong to the Church? Pastor Gary answers these and other questions in today’s study from Romans 9-11. In these three chapters, Paul addresses the subject of Israel and the Jewish people and how they fit into God’s redemptive plan.
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 5-6.
When life is good, it's easy to quote Romans 8:28 that "all things work together for good." But when life is not so good, is this verse still true? Are other verses in the Bible still true when our life circumstances do not fit with the promises of the Bible? The answer is YES. It's not that the Bible promise is lacking, it's that our understanding or perspective is lacking. Today, Pastor Gary takes us through Romans 8:28 so that we can have a proper understanding and perspective of God's promise that "all things work together for good."
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 4.
“Why do good things happen to bad people?” This is a question that Asaph, the writer of Psalm 73, wrestles with as he juxtaposes the eternal destiny of the wicked with that of the righteous. Do you know where you would spend eternity if today were your last day on earth? In today’s message entitled “Which Side Are You On?”, Pastor Austin challenges us to no longer live in the “middle” but to pick a side and be all-in for Jesus no matter the cost.

Encountering Jesus changes lives from the inside out. He calls anyone to follow him, but it doesn’t come without sacrifice. He came to us, He sees us, and we are found by Him. Will you follow?
An In-depth study of 1 Kings 3.
Did you ever try running away from home as a kid hoping your parents would beg you to come back home? In Revelation 2, Jesus calls the Ephesian church to “Come back home!” Why? What were they doing wrong? Jesus commends them for all the things they’re doing well, but He says there is one thing they lack–love. It’s possible to do a lot of things for God but not be in love with God. In today’s message, Pastor Austin challenges us to avoid cold, mechanical religion and to fall more in love with Jesus.
An in-depth study of 1 Kings 2.
For the Christian there is a battle within—a battle between our spirit that wants to please the Lord, and our flesh that wants to please self. In Romans 8, Paul gives us three encouraging ways that the Holy Spirit helps us to fight the battle of the flesh and spirit: He empowers us, adopts us, and prays for us. Pastor Gary explains all this in today’s teaching, “Winning the War Within.”
In Romans 8, Paul opens and closes the chapter with two important exhortations: (1) There is no condemnation and (2) There is no separation from the love of God for those who are in Christ Jesus. Too many Christians still walk around under the heavy weight of condemnation, shame, and guilt. In addition, some Christians believe the lie that God doesn't really love them. In this study, Pastor Gary exposes the lies we believe from either Satan, others, or ourselves. Follow along in today's study entitled, "No Condemnation, No Separation."

In Luke 19, Jesus sent two of His disciples to retrieve the young donkey on which He would ride for His triumphal entry into Jerusalem preceding His crucifixion. When the owners inquired as to why the disciples were taking their donkey, the disciples were to respond, "Because the Lord has need of it." The owners immediately and graciously complied. In this special Palm Sunday message from guest speaker Dr. Mark Rutland, we learn that we too can give and receive spontaneous grace, "because the Lord has need of it."
