The murder of JonBenét Ramsey is considered one of the most famous unsolved mysteries in American history 6 year old beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey was killed over Christmas at her family home in 1996.  A very long ransom note was found in the house by her mum Patsy, and hours after the discovery, her Dad John discovered her lifeless body in the basement.  Her death was ruled a homicide, and the case has plagued true crime fanatics for over 2 decades as it currently remains unsolved.

In February 2008, the local community in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire was rocked by the news of a missing girl.  9 yr old Shannon Matthews was reported missing by her mum Karen.  Shannon was born on the 9th of September 1998. She had six brother and sisters - Karen had 7 children by 5 different fathers, but only four of them lived with her and Shannon in a house along with Karen’s boyfriend, Craig. They lived in a deprived area called The Dewsbury Moore Estate.  On the 19th of February Shannon had a swimming lesson, and was then due to walk home.  At 6:48pm, her mum Karen rang the police to say Shannon had not returned home from school.

The Mystery In The Oslo Hotel On an evening in May 1995, a man and a woman checked into the hotel, giving the names Jennifer and Lois Fairgate. 3 days later the police would enter the hotel room to find the woman lying face up on the hotel bed, dead with a single gunshot wound to her head in very mysterious circumstances.
