Wins Above Fantasy – Van Burnett (@Van_Verified) and Steve Gesuele (@stav8818) look at early-season meaningful hitter changes, focusing on metrics that stabilize quickly like chase and swinging strike rate. They highlight hitters improving contact without sacrificing power, plus a second group showing bat speed gains with stable or improved swing decisions, identifying potential breakouts, buy-lows, and profile changes heading into the heart of the season. Hosts: Brett Ford | Scott Chu This week on Hacks & Jacks, Scott and Brett dive into the landscape of hitters across MLB – some of which have been great and some not so much. It's awesome to see guys like CJ Abrams and Andy Pages off to such a hot start but how sustainable is their success and what should fantasy managers be on the lookout for? And for guys like Francisco Lindor and Nick Kurtz who have been dreadful to open the season, what level of concern should fantasy managers have in regard to their lack of success so far? The crew takes a look under the hood to figure out what performances are real and which ones are fluky make-believe numbers that won't stick around. The answers to these questions and much more are all here for you on this episode of Hacks & Jacks. This week on Hacks & Jacks, Scott and Brett talk about the hottest and coldest hitters to begin the season, and what it could mean for each of their fantasy seasons. Don't be the manager in your league that cuts bait with top hitters like Josh Naylor and Jakob Marsee just because they're off to a slumping start to the season. It might be a good idea to offer up streaking hitters like Cam Smith and Jordan Walker for trade if you can get something valuable in return. Scott also shows off some fancy apps and stats for PL+ and PL Pro members, explaining his interpretation and application of Process+ to assist with fantasy management decisions. The Approach Angle Nate Schwartz (@_nateschwartz) and Kyle Bland (@blandalytics) talk about bat tracking data and why context matters so much for these stats. They start by discussing bat speed as the best proxy for true batted ball power, but note that it's not as simple as the best swing speed is all that matters. Making the most of a slower bat speed can be just as effective at the same time. They briefly touch on swing speed risers and fallers, such as Cam Smith, Colt Keith, Jesus Sanchez, and Randy Arozarena. Then, they talk about swing length and its relationship to swing speed. This includes topics such as swing acceleration, relationships to plate discipline stats, and what a swing length change means for a player. After that, the conversation turns to swing path, as they break down swing tilt, attack angle, and attack direction. Finally, they talk about intercept point and how a hitter's mentality can shape the changes in the numbers. Articles discussed: Under the Hood of the Aging Hitter, Joshua Rodrigues; Brice Turang is a Great Model for How to Increase Bat Speed, Esteban Rivera; Swing Changes Through Motion Capture - Hitting Biomechanics, Driveline Baseball Join Our Discord & Support The Show: PL+ | PL Pro - Get 15% off Yearly with code PODCASTProud member of the Pitcher List Fantasy Baseball Podcast Network Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Keep or Kut - Pete (@PeteBBaseball) and Chad (chadyoung.bsky.social) couldn't get together this week, so Chad went solo, talking about how he thinks about waivers and FAAB in keeper leagues as compared to redraft. With so much waiver wire content out there, how can you, the keeper-league-playing Keep or Kut listener, use that content for a different context than it was intended. 0:42 - H2H Heroes starts with a couple of bats, and while Chad picked Cam Smith, C.J. Abrams was worth a look, too. 10:05 - Chad planned on one hitter and one pitcher, but how do you decide between Sandy Alcantara and Cam Schlittler? 1949 break 1 19:50 - When it comes to hitters on the wire, Chad will prioritize long-term value because the upside (multiple seasons worth) is so much higher than for a one-year rental type. And that influences how he reads waiver content. 2935 break 2 29:36 - Pitchers, on the other hand, Chad is more inclined to focus on the present, at least relative to hitters. This week on Hacks & Jacks, Scott and Brett discuss what few conclusions can be derived from the 10-20 plate appearances that we've seen from hitter so far this season. With less than a full week of regular season games under our belts, the Hacks & Jacks team looks at the hot streaks, cold starts and everything in between and tries not to overreact. Scott immediately started talking about how injury-riddled the career of Cleveland Guardians outfielder Chase DeLauter has been and moments later the poor guy was pulled from his game on Tuesday night with an injury. If only fantasy baseball were always that easy to predict. The Approach Angle Nate Schwartz (@_nateschwartz) and Kyle Bland (@blandalytics) discuss how to use a variety of batted ball metrics. They start by talking about how average exit velocity can be deceptive, and isn't the best way to evaluate how hard hitters hit the ball. Instead, they pivot to talking about HardHit% and get into power stats such as max exit velocity and 90th percentile exit velocity. Then, they move into batted ball metrics that go beyond just how hard the ball is hit, such as Air EV (line drives and flyballs) and barrel rate. Kyle also touches on why PullAir% is an important stat that influences power outside of exit velocity. They wrap up by bringing it all together in xwOBACON, a one stat that measures everything on batted balls. Articles discussed: Fixing HardHit%: Pitcher Percentile Risers and the Case for K+SC%, Alexander Chase; Exit Velocity: Modeling Average Maximum Athletic Effort, Jonathan Judge; Introducing a Dynamic Hard Hit Rate and "TrueHit", Connor Kurcon; Now Let’s Tweak Hard-Hit Rate Using Spray Angle, Alex Chamberlain; They Don’t Make Barrels Like They Used To, Ben Clemens Players mentioned: Dominic Canzone, Roman Anthony, Chase Meidroth, Angel Martines, Rhys Hoskins, Coby Mayo, Hunter Goodman, Cal Raleigh, Ozzie Albies, Elly de la Cruz, James Wood, Jordan Walker Join Our Discord & Support The Show: PL+ | PL Pro - Get 15% off Yearly with code PODCASTProud member of the Pitcher List Fantasy Baseball Podcast Network Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The Approach Angle Nate Schwartz (@_nateschwartz) and Kyle Bland (@blandalytics) discuss the importance of WHIP and how it can be analyzed with Str-ICR to find underappreciated pitchers. They talk about the basis of WHIP: first, why it's an important stat, and how it can be forgotten when analyzing a pitcher. Is it still important in today's analysis? Then, the discussion pivots to the most volatile part of WHIP, batted ball results. Ideal Contact Rate (ICR) groups all contact that's bad for a pitcher, and is an easier way to understand the quality of contact a pitcher is giving up. The two discuss the significance of finding the right batted balls to measure, and how ICR can be combined with Strike Rate as a proxy for estimating WHIP. This concept comes from an article Kyle wrote two years ago (https://pitcherlist.com/introducing-str-icr/). Finally, they mention players who stand out between their 2025 Str-ICR and 2026 projected WHIP. Players mentioned: Mick Abel, Jose Soriano, Cade Horton, Spencer Strider, George Kirby Join Our Discord & Support The Show: PL+ | PL Pro - Get 15% off Yearly with code PODCASTProud member of the Pitcher List Fantasy Baseball Podcast Network Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Keep or Kut - Pete (@PeteBBaseball) and Chad (chadyoung.bsky.social) go three three ADP tiers and identify players they simply have to have in keeper leagues. These are players whose ADP represents a value this year and have potential to be great keepers, even if you have to pay an increasing cost for them, next year. We used FanTrax ADP and here are the rules we followed: One player each from inside the top 100 ADP, one from ADP 101-200, and one outside the top 200. Players should have keeper value, but they also have to be valuable this year. You are competing, so you aren't going to punt a pick and a roster spot to stash Jesús Made for a year or more. 4:35 - Pete goes pitching in the top 100, targeting Logan Gilbert for the possibility to combine his history as a 200-inning workhorse with his newfound 2025 K-rate. 10:04 - Chad wants to buy the dip on Jackson Merrill, whose ADP would make him a multi-year keeper if he rebounds like we expect. 18:06 - Chad sticks in the outfield, this time going for Heliot Ramos, whose ADP is just straight too low. 26:55 - Another outfielder, this time from Pete who loves the power from Daulton Varsho, even if you get nothing else from him. 36:39 - Once we get outside the top 200, a lot of prospects are interesting, but we tried to stay away from them, and Pete finds himself targeting Francisco Alvarez. 43:21 - Chad wraps things up with a look at why Jackson Holliday is on multiple of his rosters. The Approach Angle Nate Schwartz (@_nateschwartz) and Kyle Bland (@blandalytics) are joined by Alexander Chase to discuss auction values and other draft evaluation tools for upcoming fantasy drafts. They compare the importance of industry rankings and calculated auction values, then get into how auction values are built using calculators. The group also breaks down auction values specifically: establishing how playing time is such a strong tool and the balance between playing time & talent. Finally, they discuss the individuality of using these tools, such as why knowing your league format matters and how to leverage them in a draft room. Keep or Kut - Pete (@PeteBBaseball) and Chad (chadyoung.bsky.social) are back at it and today they are looking at how much things can change over the course of spring training. From keeper decisions to drafts to FAAB, you need to be constantly adjusting when news - especially bad news - breaks in Spring. 2:00 - Zack Wheeler's value has moved quite a bit without much happening, and Chad and Pete aren't aligned on how much it should have moved. Plus, we discuss other injured pitchers and what we plan to do with them. 15:19 - How much did the Jurickson Profar suspension mess up Chad's outfields and what should he do about it? There aren't really any newly-interesting OF. 20:40 - Chad thinks there is real upside in the Rockies outfield, but you may not be able to roster more than one of those upside plays. 28:15 - Even as things are changing, it is much harder to trust the good (breakout performances and velocity gains) than the bad (injuries and suspensions) and that has implications for the depth of the player pool. 31:19 - In weekly lineup leagues, remember you don't need to trust everyone on your roster from day one - you can stash someone as long as you have a lineup you feel good about. 37:40 - Is this a good time to hit the trade market? It's much easier in keeper leagues than redraft. 49:28 - Looking at some intriguing Spring prospects: Spencer Jones, Joshua Baez, and Mick Abel. Ellen Adair and Ben Lindbergh discuss "Charlie Brown's All Stars," grading it on the 20-80 scouting scale. Ellen welcomes Ben, who discusses his lifelong love of "Peanuts" and getting to meet creator Charles M. Schulz! They introduce and summarize the cartoon (8:31) and review the 20-80 scouting scale (11:45) before hearing about Ben's fictional scouting director and real-life experience with the Sonoma Stompers (12:51). With Amount of Baseball (15:35), Ben favorably considers that there is more baseball in this 25 minute cartoon than hockey in six episodes of "Heated Rivalry," and discusses the "Effectively Wild" tradition of dubbing films "baseball movies." Ellen finds this cartoon does the little things right. In Baseball Accuracy (19:31), they discuss the lack of an opposing team and float competing theories, whether it is magical realism charged by Charlie Brown's emotional life, or perhaps baseball ghosts. They also discuss the very long hang time for the ball in the initial sequence, and the implications for Charlie Brown's range. Ellen dives deep into the stats Linus provides, considering them on an imagined per-game basis. They discuss clutch-ness and the power of belief at various levels. In Storytelling (38:20), they discuss various non sequiturs, editing oddities, and the interlude to Snoopy's imaginative plane. They also examine the depiction of various different kinds of baseball fans, and the lack of hustle on Charlie Brown's team, and some inconsistencies in character point of view. An intermission with Ben Lindbergh features his answers to the Nine Things (56:20) , including his choice three baseball players and three baseball moments--no spoilers! Our intrepid scouts return with the Score Tool (1:28:20), enjoying the music provided by the Vince Guaraldi Sextet. In Acting (1:31:40), they discuss the quality of the distinctive charm of the performances, which as a whole are truly creative of a style rather than interpretive of life. Particular shout-out to Peter Robbins as Charlie Brown, Christopher Shea's liquid l's, Sally Dryer's pronunciation of "uniform," and Director Bill Melendez as decades of Snoopy and Woodstock. In the Delightfulness of Catcher Character (1:38:22) the scouts parse a fondness for Schroeder with his excellence as a lovable team leader or helpfulness to his pitcher. Delightfulness of Announcer (1:43:21) offers no announcer, but some discussion of the possible existence of an official scorer. Lack of Misogyny (1:44:26) balances Charlie Brown standing up to a misogynist league policy with the blame for the all-gender ridicule of Charlie Brown landing solely at the girls' feet. No spoilers on the following segments: Yes or No (1:50:49), Six Degrees of Baseball (1:56:01), Favorite Moment (1:58:11), Least Favorite Moment (2:00:31), Scene That We'd Like to See (2:05:34), and Dreamiest Player and Favorite Performance (2:12:06). Keep or Kut - Without Chad, Pete (@PeteBBaseball) breaks down his favorite and least favorite picks of each of the first 10 rounds of our Keep or Kut Listener League 1 roto draft. 2:14 - In the first round, Pete liked the one-pick discount on José Ramírez, but had to rationalize his own Matt Olson pick. 6:41 - Yoshinobu Yamamoto fell to the second round, where Randy Arozarena also got scooped up. 9:58 - While Pete wasn’t super enthused about Will Smith going in the third, Smith’s teammate, Freddie Freeman, he thought was a great pick. 15:34 - In Round 4, Pete goes on a tangent about people trying to predict injuries. Once he settles down, he shares that he loved the Seiya Suzuki pick but questions the Brandon Nimmo pick. 22:53 - More outfielders! Pete liked the Ian Happ pick in Round 5, but questioned his own move of reaching for stolen bases with Dylan Crews. 27:40 - Pete’s favorite pick in Round 6 was Jose Altuve. He mispronounces “Lowe” for the 800th time in this show’s history. He also was not a huge fan of the Teoscar Hernández pick. 32:10 - Zack Wheeler was Pete’s pick… and his favorite pick of Round 7. Is Ceddanne Rafaela worth it in Round 7? 36:39 - Isaac Paredes is still in Houston! Have faith! Munetaka Murakami has some serious power upside, but is this a little early for him? 41:50 - In Round 9, Pete really liked the Daulton Varsho pick. There were a few picks Pete wasn’t a fan of, but he ended up going with Griffin Jax. 45:05 - Round 10 included names such as Konnor Griffin, Gleyber Torres, and Dennis Santana. Keep or Kut - Pete (@PeteBBaseball) and Chad Young (@chadyoung) just finished up a keeper league draft with 10 listeners and take some time to go through interesting picks and keeps. 4:13 - Chad and Pete pick 1-2 and the first tough calls of the draft came because Pete was "stuck" with a util-only bat at 1.1. 10:44 - Right off the start, you get guys being taken over ADP - even in the first round. But because of keepers, team structure and more, it's less a reach and more a pick that makes sense. 20:01 - Did Matt Heckman jump too early on Wyatt Langford? And how do we feel about a second round keeper price on Cal Raleigh? 23:11 - Third and fourth round keepers are high priced but generally make sense once you have context. 27:34 - George Springer is a great example of old guy value and he comes with real upside even at a high cost. 30:04 - We move into the fifth and sixth rounds, and Chad jumps into a mini-closer run, because he was committed to chasing saves because he kept a first closer. 37:40 - Eugenio Suárez is a solid pick with real upside and a deflated ADP because we don't know where he will land. 39:28 - Moving into the seventh round, we start to see teams reach for big upside and long-term keepers for the first time - and it might be happening earlier this year than last. 52:12 - Onto the ninth and tenth rounds where the draft swung back to old boring guys, but there are still a few names - even among the old guys! - with keeper upside. 59:05 - We move into the 11th and 12th rounds, and we're all reaching now, plus maybe we over-drafted closers early? Ellen Adair and Eric Gilde discuss the 1992 film "Mr. Baseball." They introduce the film (1:07), with an overview of the story, the cast, and filmmakers, and review the 20-80 baseball scouting grades for rating the film, with a new metaphor (5:31). Amount of Baseball (14:02) has a good variety, and they contrast the unnecessary Yankee stadium with the real Japanese baseball stadiums, plus the Frank Thomas appearance and a player comp. Baseball Accuracy (19:52) is strong, although the MLB and NPB do not trade, and you shouldn't bring your top hand over. A dive into the shuuto pitch (Yu Darvish, Aaron Nola, Shohei Ohtani) and Ricky Davis's debut (Frank Thomas, JP Arencibia). There are timeline issues with MLB/NPB seasons and the Dodgers series, there are problems with Doc the Agent, the nightmare as a hitter's nightmare, and some poor scouting practices. But there are fun references to the hotfoot tradition (Roger McDowell?) and John Kruk. A brief history of the Chunichi Dragons franchise and their most famous player Michio Nishizawa, plus Larry Doby, Don Newcombe and Matt Stairs. NPB home run records include discussion of Sadaharu Oh, Randy Bass, Tuffy Rhodes, Alex Cabrera and Wladimir Balentien. Cultural differences between Japanese baseball and American baseball, including facial hair (Bob Horner, Eric Thames), the "Gaijin strikezone," extra innings, and the cap-tipping tradition (Osamu Higashio, Dick Davis). Also the Brett Myers/Kyle Kendrick prank, Don Mattingly comparisons, and Tom Selleck's athleticism. Storytelling (50:30) discusses how a formula is good for reversals but bad for long scenes, the bunting trope in baseball movies, the film's cultural in/sensitivities, Cleveland/Nagoya comparisons, the bath scene, and problems with the Lame Romantic Subplot. The Score Tool (1:15:37) discusses this 1992 timepiece from Jerry Goldsmith, which slightly divides our scouts. Acting (1:19:18) considers the performances of Tom Selleck, Ken Takakura, Toshi Shioya, Aya Takanashi, and the baseball team ensemble. Neither Delightfulness of Catcher (1:26:08) or Delightfulness of Announcer (1:27:18) offer much. In Lack of Misogyny (1:27:56), they consider the believability of the Lame Romantic Subplot, Hiroko's own issues, and the repairing of the father/daughter relationship. But why does Hiroko like Jack? No spoilers on the following segments: Yes or No (1:40:23), Six Degrees of Baseball (1:44:12), Favorite Moment (1:45:26) Least Favorite Moment (1:47:44), Scene We Would Have Liked to See (1:49:42), Dreamiest Player (1:51:03), Favorite Performance (1:51:27), and Next Time (1:53:15). Ellen Adair and Eric Gilde discuss the 2001 film "61*." They introduce the film (1:10), with an overview of the story, the cast, and filmmakers, and review the 20-80 baseball scouting grades for rating the film, with a new metaphor (5:51). In Amount of Baseball (14:41), they discuss the use of actual Mark McGwire footage, the strength of this tool throughout, and the impact of the authenticity. There is a player comp. Baseball Accuracy (20:39) starts off with discussion of Billy Crystal as Mantle's friend and "Rain Man" on set, and then delves into the history, talking about Ford Frick, Fay Vincent, and the asterisk itself, Roger Maris and Babe Ruth plate appearances, Maris and Mantle's relationship with the press, Pascual or Ramos, the imbalanced AL/NL in 1961, Babe Ruth breaking Ned Williamson's record, Maris trade rumors, Mantle running to first in three seconds, Joe DiMaggio Jerk-o-meter, Moose Skowron, Elston Howard, Billy Martin escapades, Maris signing an X on a ball, Rogers Hornsby, Casey Stengel and Mantle, the slick nickname, Mantle's arm injury, Hoyt Wilhelm and Tom Candiotti. Storytelling (54:16) considers everything added by the inclusion of the McGwire framing device, the function of Claire Ruth and Pat Maris in the story, the opening day scene, and the handling of exposition. There are a few small instances of Shakespearing. The scouts discuss the nuanced depiction of male friendship, the character of the media, the character of Bob Cerv, and the cinematography and lighting. The Score Tool (1:24:53) discusses the main theme, the volume of the score, and songs by The Ventures, Bobby Darin, and the Shirelles. Why TF is there a Lyle Lovett song? Acting (1:31:20) pretty much worships Barry Pepper, Thomas Jane, Bruce McGill, Michael Nouri, Richard Masur, Peter Jacobson, Seymour Cassel, Chris Bauer, Anthony Michael Hall, Christopher McDonald and Joe Grifasi, plus the rest of the ensemble. Delightfulness of Catcher (1:51:17) considers 17% of Yogi Berra and not enough Elston Howard. Delightfulness of Announcer (1:52:44) revels in both the accuracy and the high delight of the depictions of Phil Rizzuto, with all of his Rizzuto catchphrases and digressions, and Mel Allen trying to reign him in. Ellen has a (Rizzuto-esque?) digression into a comparison with "Eight Men Out." In Lack of Misogyny (1:59:51), they discuss Mantle's womanizing, and how it's tempered with Maris's point of view, consideration of Pat's perspective, and the existence of female fans. Keep or Kut - Pete (@PeteBBaseball) took part in the Pitcher List Podcast Network mock draft in Octobter. This week, Chad Young (@chadyoung) grills Pete (nicely) on his strategy, his picks, what went well, what didn't, and what he learned. Along the way, they try to bring in some keeper league thoughts, as well. 1:40 - What makes a draft like this different from a keeper draft - and what makes this draft particularly unique? 11:09 - Picking 11th, Pete made a tactical choice to wait on pitching, knowing he could get his ace at 14, landing Fernando Tatis, Jr. and Paul Skenes. 17:43 - At the 3/4 turn, Pete went bat-arm again, this time maybe reaching for a bat he loves (Roman Anthony) and taking an unexpected 2nd ace who fell (Yoshinobu Yamamoto) 23:21 - Pitching keeps falling so in the 5th and 6th, Pete ends up with a third ace in Max Fried and fills SS with Bo Bichette. 29:24 - Are we feeling different about Bichette in keepers vs. redraft? 31:37 - In the 7th and 8th, Pete is feeling good about his three-headed ace and is looking for bats to strengthen his offense. He finds Brandon Lowe and Eugenio Suarez at two relatively weak positions. 37:34- Among a run of hitters joining Pete's team, Pete takes his first closer, and opts for Aroldis Chapman over Cade Smith, then follows that up with Spencer Torkelson in the 10th, Michael Harris in the 11th and Teoscar Hernandez in the 12th. 50:48 - Pete jumps back in the pitching market adding Tanner Bibee and Emmet Sheehan over a slew of other pitchers going in this range, before grabbing Kenley Jansen at the end of a closer run. 55:54 - On the other side of the turn after Jansen, Pete grabs Luis Robert, Jr., one of a number of buy-low bounce backs (too many, perhaps) he grabbed in this draft. Then he adds Jonathan Aranda and Mackenzie Gore, who really shouldn't be buy-lows. 1:02:06 - Pete closes out with a high upside play (Munetaka Murakami), his starting C (Drake Baldwin), a couple additional SP (Parker Messick and Brayan Bello), and a guy whose second half was better than you think (Christian Walker). 1:11:44 - A quick look at a few players who went undrafted but could be interesting. It’s another Replay Review episode! Ellen Adair and Eric Gilde are joined by Ashley MacLennan, Darby Robinson and Brett Rutherford of “Who’s on Worst” to discuss one of the baseball movie genre’s worst offerings: “Ed.” That’s right. Then, they receive the three other scouts’ grades on the following tools: Amount of Baseball (23:36), Baseball Accuracy (28:57), Storytelling (46:01), Score (1:16:27), Acting (1:23:14), Delightfulness of Catcher (1:30:31), Delightfulness of Announcer (1:35:37) and Lack of Misogyny (1:40:08). Ellen Adair and Eric Gilde discuss the 2001 movie "Hardball." They introduce the film (1:34), with an overview of the story, the cast, and filmmakers, and review the 20-80 baseball scouting grades for rating the film, with a new metaphor (8:14). In Amount of Baseball (17:50), the scouts initially disagree, but slightly convince each other. Ellen has two potential player comps. Baseball Accuracy (25:26) compares this Little League play to other films, with just a couple of editorial / geographical issues. Ellen defends Frank Thomas's honor and digs in on Sammy Sosa's consecutive homers, and records by Ken Griffey Jr, Don Mattingly, and Kevin Mench. That is not Wrigley. Those are not NBA games. Luis Garcia's dance step is considered. Storytelling (39:23) is a real challenge, when the entire inveterate gambler storyline does not work. Plus, white savior problems, a very confusing moral, and a complete lack of necessary exposition. There are so many unanswered questions. How does he earn their trust? Why does G-Baby have to die? Eulogy issues, uniform issues. At long last, the Score Tool (1:24:13) is only a partial respite, with some small problems of its own. They consider some of the soundtrack songs, including "Ghetto," "Hardball," "Big Poppa," "Where the Party At," and R. Kelly. Acting (1:30:21) considers the ceiling and floor of a slightly mis-cast Keanu Reeves. Diane Lane was trying, John Hawkes had an impossible task, D.B. Sweeney deserves better. Young actors Michael B. Jordan, Bryan Hearne, Julian Griffith, and DeWayne Warren almost save the movie. Neither Delightfulness of Catcher (1:39:26) or Delightfulness of Announcer (1:40:27) offer much. In Lack of Misogyny (1:41:00), they discuss the insipidity of the lame romantic subplot. No spoilers on the following segments: Yes or No (1:45:06), Six Degrees of Baseball (1:48:56), Favorite Moment (1:50:43) Least Favorite Moment (1:53:00), Scene We Would Have Liked to See (1:54:54), Dreamiest Player (1:56:50), Favorite Performance (1:57:09), and Next Time (2:00:32). Keep or Kut - Chad (@chadyoung) and Pete (@PeteBBaseball) pull up their rosters in Ottoneu league 1372, the Keep or Kut Listener League, and talk through who is a keeper, who is a cut, and who should maybe be shopped over the off-season. While trade season hasn't kicked off and it is too early to make final decisions, getting a sense of where you stand is a great place to start. 5:35 - What we're doing in our keeper leagues right now - first pass at keepers, positional eligibility, etc. 14:42 - Breaking down our Listener league rosters, starting with Pete's corner infielders, including an interesting debate on Marcell Ozuna. 23:08 - Chad's CI situation is mostly settled, but is Miguel Vargas a $3 keeper and how much does it hurt to bail on $17 Royce Lewis? 31:52 - The future of Pete's MI is pretty fun, but does he have enough MLB production? That might depend on what you think of Marcelo Mayer. 40:58 - Chad's MI looks a lot better after Jorge Polanco went off while we recorded, especially given how weak 2B is. 48:03 - Pete's OF has some tough calls, including a $16 Jarren Duran and $5 Brenton Doyle 58:03 - Chad has some tough calls on $20+ OF and that, in turn, may push some decisions on cheaper OF. 1:06:19 - We each have more prospects that we would ideally like to keep, but who gets cut loose?
